Mooi surroundings

Our B&B is conveniently located in the south-west of Småland about a 2-hour drive from Malmö. If you are travelling (via the E20 towards Gothenburg or the E4 towards Stockholm) we can offer you a comfortable resting point. Also for a longer stay the area offers a variety of nature or tranquility, as well as activities, beaches and beautiful old cities.

In the immediate vicinity you can walk and within walking distance there is a lake with a swimming jetty. Looking for a bigger lake? Bolmen Lake, with 180 km² one of Sweden’s larger lakes (and the largest in Småland), is 15 km away and is without a doubt a special destination. Here you can do everything from swimming, pedalboats, boating or kayaking, fishing and hiking to take the ferry to bolmsö island. And for those who love cycling or mountain biking, there are several routes, short and longer, along the lakes nearby.

In addition to the lakes and forests in the immediate vicinity, there are also the sea, fine beaches and old cities. For example, Båstad or Halmstad, cosy old cities with nice familiar and unknown shops and cosy cafes. The road there is already very worthwhile. Halmstad is located on the coast, so lovers of sand, beach and sea can also go there. The city itself has a few beaches and about 10 km under Halmstad is the beautiful Mellby beach. And about 20 km south, Båstad is also on the coast.
