Wool is a gift from sheep to people.
Since ancient times it has been used to spin, weave, knit and it is felt into clothing and utensils. Felting is a ancient technique that turns wool with the help of water, soap and pressure into a solid fabric.
In addition, Mooi Tova is also:
- spinning raw wool
- dyeing of wool and fabrics, in rainbow colours with minimal impact on the environment or with colours that nature gives us in all its shapes (natural paints and eco-dyeing)
- reuse of old, often with love and attention- made, clothing, embroidery and blankets, to toys, bags, utensils and jackets.
The emphasis in the workshops is on felting in all its diversity, from simple utensils to combinations of wool and other fabrics.
